This is where I went to Elementary school, I made one of the tiles on that wave statue.
As did I! c: I made a horribly ugly looking fish LOLOLOL.

I grew up on the beautiful island of Kauai for the first fourteen years of my life. I went back this June to visit and did the same hike I did when I was four years old, now twenty, and look how much the place has changed yet stayed the same. I took this photo in the exact same spot and you can see how the mountains and the ocean remain just as beautiful as ever, but the trees grew just as I did. They also fixed the trail up just a bit because people have died on it.
I think I want to do this hike every single time I visit now. :)

I have known this girl right here since we were in Kindergarten together, and she is one of my best friends. She and I bonded over the fact that both of us remained obsessed with Pokemon long after everyone else got over it and started ridiculing it. We would play N64 and PS2 all day and battle on our gameboys and play ball and chase chickens and practically live at each others’ houses.
In more recent years, when I see her that is, we smoke and drink and go on hikes and go snorkeling and go to the beach to tan.
The last time I visited Kauai, we were walking down the street and some creepy old guy driving by in a truck took pictures of us on his phone because he thought we were twins LOLOL. I love this chick.

Just had brunch at the King Kamehameha… Now for kayaking and snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. This will be a relaxing birthday. :)
